Robert Schlein, Esq.

6 Picture 6Mr. Schlein has been practicing law in San Diego for 30 years. He was admitted to the California State Bar on May 29, 1981. Mr. Schlein grew up in Long Island, New York, before going off to college at the University of Toledo in Ohio. After graduating from college, Mr. Schlein served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Schlein earned his law degree from Western State University.

After serving in the U.S. Army, Mr. Schlein became a Probation Officer in Toledo, Ohio in 1968. In 1970, Mr. Schlein moved to San Diego, California, where he continued his work as a Probation Officer. Mr. Schlein served as a Probation Officer for 13 years. His background in law enforcement gives him a unique and valuable perspective on the criminal justice system.

Mr. Schlein has 30 years of experience in state and federal court. He has handled hundreds of civil and criminal cases, including RICO defense, drug and cartel cases, and immigration related offenses. He has also represented members of the NRA for over 20 years in assisting them with Second Amendment gun right issues. Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Schlein has built strong relationships with law enforcement, attorneys, and judges in San Diego’s legal community. He has defended health care professionals for over 20 years in both criminal matters and administrative matters; helping to keep licenses and professional careers.

Sarah Jones, Esq. (Associate Attorney)

7 View from OfficeSarah Jones graduated with honors from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a double minor in Philosophy and Spanish. She then graduated from the California Western School of Law in 2012, receiving her Juris Doctorate degree. In law school, Sarah was a member of the Moot Court Honors Executive Board and International Law Society.

During law school, Sarah interned at the San Diego Office of the Primary Public Defender where she assisted in defending felony cases. She also interned at the San Diego Office of the Alternate Public Defender where she supported staff in multiple defendant felony cases. After law school, Sarah took on contract work for local private criminal defense attorneys. These experiences allowed her to support attorneys with a wide variety of clients in both state and federal court.

Sarah is admitted to practice in the following courts: United States District Court, Southern District of California; and the California Superior Courts.
